Windswept fun

The mountain was open again today so me and Jamie with the new arrival of Twig, headed up the hill. For Twig's first run of the season we hopped out of bounds and hit some windswept powder, which seemed to be the theme of the day really. We had a few nice runs with the sun poking its head out for a minute at one point, but that was short lived and the clouds closed in again pretty quickly. The pistes were pretty grim today, super hard, bumpy and unsurprisingly, windswept, but for the first time this year we could ski all the way to the bottom. Avalanche risk is obviously incredibly high at the moment due to getting a dump of over a meter with no base, but we have heard plenty of blasting going on so hopefully its reasonably safe up there now, we aren't risking hitting any big lines still though, the risk is too high and I'm sure there will be more, safer opportunities throughout the season. I took a short clip from my head cam this afternoon, unfortunately it wasn't in the 10 second sun window.
Caught with his pants down, sorry Twig. Awkward looking fellow passengers.
